YOUR STEPS TO
Dive Deep & Heal
If you’re here, you’re likely dealing with chronic, complex gut issues. These issues may have been around for years and are probably affecting more than just your digestion. This is where we need to take a comprehensive approach to really address the root causes and support you in healing deeply.
Here are 5 tips to start deep gut repair and healing:
Â
 1. Consider a comprehensive microbiome test
To help you stop wasting anymore time, gain insights into your inflammation, gut immune response, anti-inflammatory bacteria, gut lining health, stomach acid and bacterial overgrowths and formulate a step-by-step plan to improve them.
 2. Reduce foods high in saturated fat
Swap coconut oil, coconut yoghurt, red meats and paleo products for lower-saturated fat foods like olive oil, lactose-free or soy yoghurt and oily fish. Include oily fish 3 times a week.
 3. Prioritise your hydration
When you struggle with chronic gut issues, you often struggle to drink enough water. Make sure you drink 2lt water daily by filling up 2 x 750 bottles and finishing them by dinner. Start your day with 250ml water and have a glass of water with dinner and you will have easily hit the 2lt you need to for less anxiety, fatigue and better bowel movements.
4. Commit to calming your cortisol
Chronic gut issues are often caused and worsened by stress, so daily calming practices are non-negotiables. Take 8 slow, deep breaths with longer exhales on waking, before meals and at bedtime. Listen to 528Hz frequencies for at least 10 minutes a day. Ask your practitioner if a therapeutic daily dose of magnesium and glycine could be right for you.
5. Address your nutrient deficiencies
Long-term gut inflammation will often affect nutrient absorption, leaving you with low iron, D, B12 and zinc and if you’ve been avoiding dairy, you’re probably low in calcium. All of these nutrients are essential for good digestive function - ignoring them could be one of the things keeping you stuck. Now's the time to find an iron you tolerate and a supplement plan that supports your energy, mood AND your gut.Â
The best time to get on top of your gut issues is when they first start. The second best time is now.
